STRANDED

OCT. 25, 2012

Waiting for car pool going Sta Rosa, we were able to leave the office at 6pm, and unluckily cars all stranded at Cabuyao Exit. 30 minutes or so waiting is not a joke.

and decided to stop over and eat at Mang Inasal along the South Luzon Expressway.......

Cars were not allowed to cross Tagapo street because of the thigh level flood.
No choice but to ride the Army truck...............

APPLIANCE CENTER SUPERVISOR

The long weekend gave us a chance to look for a new Refrigerator since our old one is retiring soon.
Abenson compare to SM offers cheaper appliances here at Laguna. (there you go Abenson, I keep on plugging you, give me discount next time ha? :) )

Though it's hard to browse and chose from variety of choices with different specs and features that are so attractive, we came up finally with a good brand. However, looking and running after this kid is harder than deciding the right appliances that we want.

DESPEDIDA with the MARINOS

Last week, Chief Engineer Buen and Sir Frank held their despedida party at Paseo de Sta Rosa.
It was fun, the videoke, performers, drinks (though i'm not drinking) and the food.

We were able to finish the party at around 9pm, so early :)
Boys needed to come home for their wives were already calling them.. hehe..
Gavin is also waiting for me, I'll be seeing my baby before going to sleep.. yey!!

Birthday 2011 (late post) :)

I filed my leave early December so I could accomplish something special for my special day..
That is, to visit Little Angels at Tagaytay (which is one of the things i really wanted to do even before).
When I was still active at the church, I had a chance to visit this orphanage after raising a not so big amount of money from an event. That was so inspiring, to see children smiling after you've given them time talking about their lives, hugging them, making them laugh at small things etc.

A day before my birthday, we bought stuffs at Super8 so we can give something for the children, administrators from Little Angels gave me list of goods they are in need of.

Seeing the place after so many years brought back all the memories and smiles of the children that i met before but it's so unfortunate that the children were not there when we arrived.
They already moved to batangas, a bigger place to accomodate a counting numbers of children residing at Little Angels.
We left the goods there and promise to come back next year and try to visit the children at batangas.
